The Road To Burritoville

If you like what you see so far, then what are the next steps?

Submit Application
It seems kind of premature to ask you for an application at this point doesn't it? Well the reason we do it is to make sure that you understand how much cash you will need to qualify. Doesn't make much sense to approve someone who won't be able to get their financing approved. And giving you a disclosure document, when you don't qualify financially, doesn't make much sense either. So the first step is to fill out our online application or download it and get it back to us by email or FAX or even snail mail. Don't worry no credit checks will be made until you have been otherwise approved.

Face to Face:
A face to face meeting is the next order of business. You will have questions and concerns and there is nothing like a face to face meeting to let you get a feel for what we do. From our side, we want to make sure that we also answer the questions that you didn't think to ask. We want to take you through the entire development process, from franchise signing, to site acquisition, to training, financing, construction and opening. Then we will take you through the process of operating a Quesada franchise and we will review our business model.

Disclosure and Due Diligence
At the same meeting we are going to provide you with a Disclosure Document. We are required by franchise legislation in several provinces to give every candidate all information about us that may be material to their decision to buy a franchise. That means a copy of every document you will be asked to sign including a copy of our franchise agreement.

The penalties for misrepresenting or omitting material information are severe, so you can rely on the accuracy of this information. Under the regulations we cannot sign any agreement or accept any deposit until at least fourteen days have passed after we give you the Disclosure Document. Even if you do not live in a regulated province we follow the same procedure.

Please be advised that we will not be in a position to make profit projections. Think about it. Without a site and not knowing your operational capability how could we? But we can review the business model and discuss potential operating costs.

During the fourteen day period we recommend that you should visit our restaurants and talk with our operators.

Approval
We may call you back for an additional discussion. If you decide that Quesada is the concept for you then we will go ahead and make the usual checks (credit, etc.). Approval will be based on our assessment of your abilities, you meeting the minimum cash requirements and your credit worthiness. If we both agree to go ahead, you will sign an exact copy of the franchise agreement found in the Disclosure Document and you will pay the non-refundable franchise fee ($20,000.00) and applicable taxes as outlined in the same document.
